As the child of immigrants, I have often wondered what was in it for my parents when they decided to start a family in the U.S. In this episode, I talk to my father about the true meaning of a “better life” by comparing his experiences and struggles as a taxi driver in the U.S. to life back in Egypt.
Marcellino is a junior at Francis Lewis High School in Queens. He is a part of numerous clubs at his school including string orchestra and science research program. In his free time, he enjoys trying new things.
